As I watch the Mars Rover stream I see scientists, people who worked on this project and for other projects that took years to lead to this moment, just break down into tears, overwhelmed with emotion over the landing. It’s far too touching and just says something to me about these individuals dedication to knowledge and how this marks such a great achievement for mankind.

If I’m honest, I’m pretty damn emotional over the whole thing myself right now. What an accomplishment.
